Fatal Fury 2

Fatal Fury 2, known as Garou Densetsu 2: Aratanaru Tatakai (餓狼伝説２ 新たなる闘い) in Japan, is the sequel to Fatal Fury. It was originally released by SNK for the Neo Geo in 1992, then it was brought to the Sega Mega Drive by Takara in 1994. The Mega Drive port of the game uniquely allows players to chain normal moves together into combos. The original Neo Geo versions only allow normal moves to be canceled into special moves. The Mega Drive version also allows Mai's Death Dive special move to be used on any stage with two lanes, whereas the original Neo Geo versions only allow Mai to use the move on her own stage. The Mega Drive version lacks the bonus stages that usually appear after every four opponents in the single-player mode.
